About your practitioner
Ming completed her medical studies at the Guilin Medical College where she been trained in both Western and Chinese Medicine in 1981. She then practiced as a medical doctor for five years in a clinic and Teaching Hospital of Guilin Medical College before she left her country-- the People’s Republic of China. Ming learned Pediatric Tuina ( acupressure ) from her aunt in QingDao City when she was a high school student. In the U.S., Ming has worked as a registered nurse in a hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit since 1993. She holds a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Academy of Oriental Medicine in Austin and a Diplomate in both Acupuncture and Chinese herbal Medicine with the National Commission for the Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She is licensed as an acupuncturist by the Texas State Board of Medical Examiners. Ming’s mission is to provide professional courteous service and quality workmanship to every client
